Whitetail Deer Hunting
The Saskatchewan winters have been mild for the last several years and our whitetail deer have flourished. Hunting pressure is almost non-existent and therefore bucks tend to grow to maturity, with most never seeing a human. Very few places in the world will offer you a better place to harvest a world-class buck. Odds are over 5.5 days, almost every hunter will see a buck in the 130-150 plus class.
The best hunting method in the forested regions is stand-hunting. Permitted baiting is a proven method to concentrate the deer. Hunters can expect to sit in a stand for hours at a time.
Our experienced guides will take you to your stand each morning and pick you up each evening. You will be given a 2-way radio so your guide can stay in contact with you, to see if you need anything, or have harvested a buck.
Our enclosures are modern and you have the option of taking a heater if the weather is severe. Most of our rifle stands are set for shots from 50-125 yards. Mature Saskatchewan bucks are huge-bodied, weighing upwards of 300 pounds, so we suggest rifles of .270 caliber and up.
